Engagement for mental health in Switzerland

The Swiss Mental Health Network is backed and financially supported by the Swiss Confederation, cantons and Health Promotion Switzerland. It works to strengthen mental health promotion and the prevention of mental illness by facilitating the exchange of information and experiences between professionals and disseminating innovative approaches.

About us

The members of the Network are organisations, institutions and companies committed to the promotion of mental health and prevention of mental illness. They contribute to the quality and development of the Network through specialist expertise, projects and collaborations.

The bodies responsible for the Network are:

• the Federal Office of Public Health FOPH
• the Federal Social Insurance Office FSIO
• the Swiss Conference of Cantonal Health Directors
• the Swiss Health Promotion Foundation

They constitute the strategic management body of the Network.

What we do

Our main activities include

• organising professional meetings and exchanges, including in partnership with other stakeholders
• targeted communication on our website and in our newsletter
• raising awareness for innovative approaches and tools
• connecting stakeholders throughout Switzerland
• participating in national committees.
